<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expression vectors that contain hybrid ubiquitin promoters which are useful for high and sustained transgene expression and ex vivo gene therapy and for recombinant protein expression in vitro. <P>SOLUTION: The recombinant expression vectors use the hybrid ubiquitin promoters which contain one or more enhancers coupled to 5' end of the ubiquitin promoter operably coupled to a DNA sequence encoding a therapeutic gene, wherein the enhancers are selected from the group consisting of cytomegalovirus (CMV) enhancers, elongation factor 1-alpha enhancers, endothelial enhancers and liver-specific enhancers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
