<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equally receive even any load of a load to the vehicle rear and a load to the vehicle front, in a load in the vehicle longitudinal direction acting on a bumper reinforcing material. <P>SOLUTION: In a bumper device for a vehicle, the bumper reinforcing material 12 arranged along the vehicle width direction is supported by a side member of a vehicle body via a stay 11. Shapes (a shape of a connecting tongue piece part 12b of the bumper reinforcing material 12 and a sandwiching part 11b1 of the stay 11) allowing either one to move in the vehicle width direction and to be sandwiched in the vehicle longitudinal direction with respect to the other, are set in a connecting part of the bumper reinforcing material 12 and the stay 11. A regulating part (a friction stir welding part A) for regulating the relative movement of the bumper reinforcing material 12 and the stay 11, is also set in the connecting part of the bumper reinforcing material 12 and the stay 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
