Hot seal lacquer (1) comprises at least one adhesive agent, where the lacquer forms an aqueous lacquer system, and the adhesive agent is contained in a microcapsule and released by an external stimulus on the microcapsule. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the hot seal lacquer comprising microcapsulating at least one adhesive agent for the formation of many microcapsules in such a way that it is more releasable from the microcapsule by the external stimulus and preparing an aqueous lacquer system using the microcapsule and optionally further components; and (2) a security paper for preparing a value document (11), or value document obtained by adhering a security element (10) with the security paper or the value document under the external stimulus or using the hot seal lacquer.
