<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of elements to be required for configuring a monitor region with a predetermined area in an optical automatic door opening/closing control sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic door opening/closing control sensor includes: a light emission part 10 having a light emitting element 11 for emitting light toward a monitor region set in the neighborhood of the gateway of an automatic door AD via a first lens 12; and a light reception part 20 having a light receiving element 21 for receiving reflection light from the monitor region via a second lens 22. The sensor emits emission light from the light emitting element 11 toward the monitor region with the use of the first lens 12 as spot light, receives the reflection light by the light receiving element 21 via the second lens 22, and outputs an opening/closing signal to the automatic door AD in response to the light reception amount. A prism 13 for allowing the spot light with the first lens 12 to be refracted in two different directions so as to be two spot lights is arranged on the light emitting surface side of the first lens 12, for example. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
