PURPOSE: A touch panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to uniformly form a crack on a protection film which wraps a transparent conductive material. CONSTITUTION: A material(32) for a first transparent electrode includes a first transparent electrode. A material(34) for a second transparent electrode includes a second transparent electrode. A protection layer(60) is formed on the first or the second transparent electrode. A crack is formed on a surface of the protection layer. The crack does not pass through the protection layer.
