<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing corneal transplantation material by transparentization of skin dermis which solves the problem of shortage of donors and/or symptoms of rejection in corneal transplantation by developing novel corneal transplantation material using relatively noninvasively isolable tissues such as skin tissues richly existing within the living body. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing corneal transplantation material by transparentization of skin dermis includes dehydrating isolated skin dermis tissues and subjecting the dehydrated tissues to a bridging treatment to prepare skin dermis tissues in which the fiber-fiber distance is extremely short and the gaps between fibers are kept narrow even under wet physiological conditions and which has long-lasting transparency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
