PURPOSE: A semiconductor memory device is provided to improve space efficiency by installing a wire to transmit only the DBI(Data Bus Inversion) data and CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) between data output blocks from a block with a DBI function and a CRC function. CONSTITUTION: A DBI determining unit(110) determines DBI based on the first data in a main data line and generates DBI data. A first inversion unit(120) generates the second data by inverting or non-inverting the first data according to the DBI data. A CRC calculating unit(120) generates CRC data based on the second data and the DBI data. A second inversion unit(140) generates the third data by inverting or non-inverting the first data. A DQ pin outputs the third data to the outside.
