PURPOSE: A danger sensing device for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to prevent safety accidents of passengers by analyzing the situation in the lateral side and door area of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A danger sensing device for a vehicle(1) comprises data collecting parts(10), a data analyzing part(30), and a control part(50). The data collecting parts are arranged in a side mirror of the vehicle and the inside of the vehicle. The data collecting parts collect situations in the lateral side of the vehicle and the door area inside the vehicle. The data analyzing part analyzes the data collected by the data collecting parts. The control part controls the power system of the vehicle and the operation of the door based on the signals analyzed by the data analyzing part.
