[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an air filter in which there is no slippage of a filter pack during use and in which the filter pack does not fall out during horizontal use. [Solution] This air filter is formed by folding filter material into a zigzag shape, sheet shaped sealing material made from glass fiber being interposed at the end surfaces of a zigzag shaped filter pack, which has wave shaped separators interposed in the fold spaces of the filter material, and being surrounded by a filter frame provided with a folded part in which at least a free end of the end surface side of the zigzag shape of the filter pack is folded toward the inside in a cross-sectional bracket shape. The air filter is characterized by a stopper being provided between the folded part and the filter pack and strip shaped sealing material made of glass fiber being embedded between the sheet shaped sealing material and the filter pack so as to adhere tightly to the separators in the folded spaces of the filter pack. |
