PURPOSE: A wind power generating system and a control method thereof are provided to automatically transmit the work information to a remote control center and manage the transmitted work information, thereby remarkably reducing time and manpower required for managing the power generating system. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generating system comprises wind power generators(100a-100e), a remote monitoring-and-controlling unit(504), and a control center(502). The remote monitoring-and-controlling unit collects the work information of the wind power generators and transmits the same. The control center receives the work information through the remote monitoring-and-controlling unit from the wind power generators, analyzes the received work information, and establishes a work information database.
