<p>The multi-spindle lathe has machine frame (10) with spindle drum housing (14) having spindle drum (30) rotatably mounted around spindle drum axis (32). Several workpiece spindles are arranged on spindle drum and are rotatable around spindle axes. The workpiece spindle heads (44) are arranged in front of front side of spindle drum. A spindle drum drive (100) is arranged in working chamber (20) and spaced from a rear face of spindle drum housing for rotating spindle drum and acting on radial interior region (152) lying within the workpiece spindles.</p> |
