<p>High-performance, multi-range lubricating oils. Comprise a) a predominantly isoparaffinic component in viscosity range 2.5 - 4.5 cSt at 210 degrees F, a V.I. at least 120, a pour pt. below 0 degrees C, or a mixture of such a component with a synthetic lubricant with the same characteristics and b) a mineral oil with a V.I. above 90 at a viscosity of at least 5.0 cSt at 210 degrees F or a brightly viscous synthetic component with a V.I. above 120 at a viscosity of at least 20 cSt at 210 degrees F, or a mixture of the two. The oils have improved swelling behaviour.</p> |
