The assembly has a brewing chamber provided with a brewing cylinder, a brewing piston (4) and a control lever (6) for driving the brewing piston. A connecting link (8) is arranged at side walls (2) of the assembly, and stoppers (10) are arranged at the link and rotatably supported at the brewing chamber for deflection of the control lever. The stoppers are designed as upper and lower leading edges (14, 16) of the link or as detents, where the leading edges perform marc-volume dependent deflection of the control lever. Control wings (12) engage into the detents during operation of the assembly.
