PURPOSE: A main iron through of a blast furnace is provided to minimize the inflow amount of a slag which flows into a torpedo car and to prevent the generation of attaching lines inside the torpedo car. CONSTITUTION: A main iron through(10) of a blast furnace comprises an iron through(12), a protrusion part, a skimmer, and a slag discharging hole(20). The slag discharging hole is forms in the position according to the height of the protrusion part from the bottom surface of the iron through. The slag discharging hole is formed in front of the skimmer along the progressing direction of a melt. A discharging channel(22) is installed in the outside of the iron through, is connected to the slag discharging hole, and transfers the slag which is discharged from the slag discharging hole.
