PURPOSE: A tire tread rubber composition is provided to improve tearing resistance and abrasion resistance without degrading other properties. CONSTITUTION: A tire tread rubber composition comprises a raw rubber; at least one additive selected from a group consisting of carbon black, silica, antioxidant, and accelerator; and 10-90 parts by weight of an epoxy-modified polybutadiene rubber indicated in the chemical formula 1 based on 100.0 parts by weight of the raw rubber. The crystallinity of the epoxy-modified polybutadiene rubber has crystallinity and a trans content of 50-90 weight%. In chemical formula 1, I is the repeating unit of an epoxy; and m, n, and o is the repeating unit of a butylene group in the backbone thereof.
