PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation construction method with improved workability, using a spiral steel pile. SOLUTION: A foundation construction method uses a plurality of pile bodies 1 having a pile part made of spiral steel and a cylindrical part or the like arranged on the top of the pile part, and a base plate body 2 having a base part provided with an attachment part for connection to a structure on the ground and a plurality of guide cylindrical parts 22 into which the pile bodies 1 at pile driving positions are to be inserted. The base plate body 2 is installed on the construction site of the structure on the ground. The pile bodies are inserted in the guide cylindrical parts from above for pile driving. The pile bodies are driven to a predetermined depth, then the pile bodies 1 and the base plate body 2 are integrated into a foundation of the structure on the ground, allowing the structure on the ground to be constructed on the base plate body 2.
