SYSTEM FOR CORRECTING POSITION INFORMATION OF SUBMARINE

PURPOSE: An underwater location data correction system for submarines is provided to correctly offer the location data of a submarine. CONSTITUTION: A beacon transmitter(100) includes a sound wave transmitter(110) and a transducer(120). The sound wave transmitter provides the location signals of the beacon transmitter, and the transducer, located at the rear end of the beacon transmitter, converts electric signals into sound wave signals with good underwater directivity and radiates the sound waves. A beacon receiver(210) receives beacon sound wave signals from the transducer and delivers the signals to a beacon signal converter(220). The beacon signal converter, located at the rear end of the beacon receiver, converts the received beacon sound wave signals into direct current electric signals to be used at a navigation computer(240). Passive ranging sonar(230) radiates sound waves to the beacon transmitter and receives returning sound waves, thereby measuring a distance between a submarine(200) and the beacon transmitter. A depth measuring system(250) measures the depth of water through external water pressure.
