<p>PURPOSE: An application installation and usage state alarm system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to share an application with other users by transmitting the state of the application to a second user registered in an address book. CONSTITUTION: A first smartphone displays a selection window for transmitting application installation information to a second smartphone selected by a user. The first smartphone transmits second smartphone selection information to a state information management server(200). The state information management server transmits the user information of the second smartphone to the first smartphone by confirming the user information of the second smartphone from address book user information. When the second smartphone selection information is received from the first smartphone, the state information management server transmits the second smartphone selection information to the corresponding second smartphone.
