FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of ophthalmology, namely, to eye surgery. Cross-shaped cut of sclera in back pole of eyeball is made, content of eyeball is removed, implant is placed in sclera cavity and tops of sclera flaps are connected. Flaps of donor sclera of respective size are applied on sections where sclera tissue is absent and sewn in butt joint to edges of own sclera by interrupted sutures.EFFECT: method makes it possible to form locomotive stump with pre-trauma size of eyeball due to possibility of increasing sclera cavity volume.2 ex
