An apparatus for preventing loss of a fuel cap for a vehicle is provided to allow an oil supplier to recognize an open state of the fuel cap when the fuel cap is open. An apparatus for preventing loss of a fuel cap for a vehicle comprises a filler door(50) and a detection member. The filler door(50) is installed at a rear panel of the vehicle to rotate by a hinge shaft(51), and has a locking protrusion at the end portion of an inner side thereof. The detection member detects the open and close state of the fuel cap(54) and generates power according to the opening and closing of the fuel cap(54). A power transmission member is connected to the detection member to transfer the power. A locking member is connected to the power transmission member to close the filler door(50) only when the fuel cap(54) is closed. |
