摘要 A purge system for an engine is provided to introduce smoothly evaporated fuel gas flowing toward an intake path from a canister into a combustion chamber by using the negative pressure generated from a compressor. A purge system for an engine includes an intake path(7), a compressor(8), a bypass path(11), a purge valve(4), a flow path adjustment unit, and a control unit(12). The intake path introduces outdoor air to an intake manifold(6) of an engine(E). The compressor is arranged on the intake path. The bypass path is branched from the intake path at a front end or a rear end of the compressor, and bypassed. The purge valve is mounted on a purge pipeline(3) communicated to the bypass path, and opens/shuts to introduce evaporated fuel gas collected in a canister(15) to the intake manifold. The flow path adjustment unit adjusts the flow path of the evaporated fuel gas introduced to the intake manifold through the opening of the purge valve to the front end or the rear end of the compressor. The control unit detects respective intake pressure at the front end and the rear end of the compressor, and controls operation of the flow path adjustment unit in accordance with the detected intake pressure.
