PURPOSE: A schedule management method and an apparatus thereof are provided to set a period and period information with displaying schedules by easily setting the period of the schedules based on icons. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(130) displays a period setting icon for setting a period of a schedule, and a pointing unit selects the period setting icon. A control unit(160) sets the period of the schedule by responding to the selection of the period setting icon. The control unit changes the period when the period of the schedule is set. When the period of the schedule is not set, the period is determined as current time. The control unit extends the period when the period of the schedule is the current time. When the period of the schedule is different from the current time, the period is extended or reduced.
