PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring an amount of coke gas and a measuring method thereof are provided to discharge the coke gas in a water tank to a collecting device through a gas discharge port and to analyze the composition of the coke gas. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring an amount of coke gas comprises a first heating furnace(111), a second heating furnace(115), a water tank(120), a pressure meter(127), a gas discharging part(130), a water level measuring part(140), a fluid supplying part(150), a fluid discharging part(160), and a control part. The gas discharging part is installed above the water tank to discharge the coke gas supplied to the water tank. The fluid supplying part is connected to the water level measuring part to supply fluid to the water tank. The control part opens and closes the fluid discharging part according to pressures measured in the pressure meter. |
