<p>The circuit (10) has a CPU (38) and a set of printed circuit boards i.e. motherboards (16, 18), where upper faces (20, 30) of the boards are provided with electronic components (22, 32) e.g. connectors, connected by electrical conductors or conductive tracks (36) of the CPU. A thermal radiation sensor (42) i.e. thermopile, has a detection field such that the sensor is able to detect localized heating on the boards due to a malfunction e.g. short circuit, of one of the electrical components, and to transmit information to the CPU for triggering a safety process for the electronic circuit.</p> |
