The manual deburring device comprises a grippable body (11), a cutting unit integral with the body, and a mechanism for the adjustment of the position of the cutters. The body comprises two opposite jaws (12, 13), and forms a single piece. The cutting unit comprises two pairs of cutters (15, 16). Each cutter is integral with the jaw. The cutters extend along a free edge of one of the jaws and are adjacent to the free edge of one of the jaws. One of the jaws has a distal section (20) that extends vertically in line and adjacent to opposite jaw, and a proximal section (22). The manual deburring device comprises a grippable body (11), a cutting unit integral with the body, and a mechanism for the adjustment of the position of the cutters. The body is deformable between an inactive position in which the jaws are spaced apart from each other to allow the positioning of the device on the piece to be deburred and an active position in which the jaws are moved towards each other to allow the cutting of the surplus material. The cutters are disposed adjacent to opposite longitudinal ends of the body so that the device is symmetrical with respect to a central transverse plane.
