The present invention is equipped with: a power transmission means provided between a drive source and drive wheels; a drive source automatic stopping means that stops the drive source during vehicle travel when a value which indicates the operating state of the vehicle is within a range wherein stopping of the drive source is permitted; a slippage determination means that determines whether slippage has occurred with the drive transmission means while the drive source is stopped by the drive source automatic stopping means; and a change means that narrows the range wherein stopping of the drive source is permitted when the slippage determination means determines that slippage has occurred with the drive transmission means.
