PURPOSE: A decanter equipped with a scum preventive unit for an advanced sewage treatment process is provided to prevent treated water from becoming turbid. CONSTITUTION: A decanter drains supernatant to the external side of a reactor(100). The decanter includes a draining pipe(30), a cylindrical baffle member(10), and an expandable pipe unit(40). The draining pipe is vertically installed in a telescopic structure. The diameter of the baffle member is larger than the diameter of a water inlet formed at the upper part of the draining pipe. The baffle member surrounds the water inlet. The expandable pipe unit expands or shrinks the draining pipe. The lowest part of the baffle member is arranged at the surface or on the surface of supernatant. |
