PURPOSE: A transdermal formulation and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to treat dementia without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A transdermal formulation contains drug storage layer(2) and a controlled release adhesion layer(4). The drug storage layer contains rivastigmine, a polymer solvent for forming a matrix, and a percutaneous enhancer. The controlled release adhesion layer is place at the lower portion of the drug storage layer.
