PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage cell and a power storage unit which efficiently cool a power storage cell body with a simple structure.

SOLUTION: A power storage cell 1 of this invention includes: a power storage cell body 3; and a shutter 5 provided at the power storage cell body 3. The shutter 5 is elastically deformed so as to rise and fall reversibly when a temperature of the power storage cell body 3 changes.
