PURPOSE: A dynamic spinal fixation device composed of a fixing screw, a rod and a fastening unit is provided to reduce stress applied to a disk and a spinal segment neighboring the disk and to prevent the early regressive change of segments adjacent to the disk and the spinal segment. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic spinal fixation device comprises a fixing screw, a rod and a fastening unit. The fixing screw is inserted into a pedicle or a sacrum. The rod is positioned on one side of a spine portion. The fastening unit connects the rod with the fixing screw to be combined. The rod is made from a carbon material to reduce the weight applied to the rod and to the fixing screw. The carbon material is manufactured by being laminated in a prepreg method using a long carbon fiber.
