[Problem] To provide a navigation system for respiration whereby a medical device can be accurately guided to the end side of a lumen so as to enable a minimally invasive treatment in the therapy of pneumonectasia, biopsy and so on. [Solution] A navigation system (10) for respiration, comprising: a long body (12) for medical use which is flexible and to be inserted into a branched lumen (30) that is located distal to the trachea; and an information processing unit (14) which is connected to the long body for medical use, acquires information relating to the passage route of the long body for medical use in the lumen, and stores preliminarily acquired information relating to the structure of the lumen at least including the aforesaid passage route.
