<p>Provided in the present invention is a voltage equalization circuit, which is designed to be simple and low-cost, for equalizing voltages among electrical energy storage cells, such as batteries or capacitors, in an electrical energy storage device in which the electrical energy storage cells are connected in series. More particularly, the voltage equalization circuit according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a voltage equalization reference voltage generator for generating a voltage equalization reference voltage in an electrical energy storage device configured as a serial string in which the electrical energy storage cells are connected in series; resistors connected in parallel to each of the electrical energy storage cells; and switches connected in series to each of the resistors, wherein a current flowing through a resistor to an electrical energy storage cell having a voltage lower than the voltage equalization reference voltage is cut off by the turning off of a switch corresponding to the resistor.</p> |
