PURPOSE: A heat storage medium of a combustion device of a regenerative heat storage type is provided to increase a contact area between the heat storage medium and gas, thereby improving heat storage efficiency and mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: A heat storage medium(20) of a combustion device of a regenerative heat storage type comprises a first heat storage medium unit(20A) and a second heat storage medium unit(20B) which are formed of ceramic ashes. The first heat storage medium unit includes a plurality of ribs(25) on an external wall(23). The second heat storage medium unit is formed into a plane type without ribs on an external wall. The first and second heat storage medium units are arranged into a lattice form, thereby forming gaps(27) by the ribs of the first heat storage medium unit between the external walls of the first and second heat storage medium units. |
