<p>A centrifugal compressor (1) is provided with an expanded section (33) which forms a cylindrical space (S) between the suction opening (25) and the impeller (11). An inlet tapered section (35) is formed on the inlet side of the expanded section (33), and an outlet tapered section (37) is formed on the outlet side of the expanded section (33). The expanded section (33) has an inner diameter which is greater than the inner diameter of the suction opening (25) and which is two or more times greater than the inlet diameter of the impeller (11).</p> |
