PURPOSE: A damping force variable valve of a shock absorber is provided to reduce working costs and prevent oil leak around an outlet hole through direct oil flow heading for a low pressure chamber not via outlet hole affected by a disk valve. CONSTITUTION: A damping force variable valve(400) of a shock absorber comprises a valve retainer(410), a disk valve(450), a pilot chamber(460), and a pilot oil exhaust flow passage. The valve retainer comprises an inlet hole(412) and an outlet hole(414). Oil is flowed in the inlet hole and exhausted to a low pressure chamber through the outlet hole. The disk valve is located to cover the inlet hole. The pilot chamber is formed in the rear side of the disk valve. The pilot oil exhaust flow passage sends the oil to a low pressure chamber directly. |
