PURPOSE: A method and a motor driven power steering system for providing interlock function are provided, which has the effect that the smooth interlock function can be offered without the degradation of the integrated control performance for the running stability. CONSTITUTION: A motor driven power steering system for providing interlock function comprises a main control unit(110) and an auxiliary control unit(120). The main control unit is provided with the current instruction value from the car body posture stabilizer(130) and outputs current about the input torque based on the transmitted current instruction value. The auxiliary control unit decides operation of the chassis unification control function and monitors the output current about the input torque outputted from the main control unit. |
