Device for coating web-shaped materials

The device has two rollers (2, 3) arranged against each other and forming a gap (4) through which a web-like material (1) runs. A trough (5) is formed by the two rollers and two side walls (6, 7) for accommodating a coating mass (8). Two openings (9, 10) are formed in the side walls for transit of the coating mass. The openings are horizontally or vertically arranged in a series or arranged corresponding to dimension of one of the rollers in an arched manner. Height of the coating mass is defined in the trough. Axles of rollers are horizontally arranged.
