PURPOSE: A reagent storage device and a reagent management system are provided to effectively manage a reagent by identifying the reagent from an image of a reagent storage container. CONSTITUTION: A reading module(140) captures images which include reagent containers(130a-130c) and extracts characters displayed on the reagent containers in order to identify a reagent. A control module(150) receives the captured images. The image sensor is comprised of four sensors and captures images of the reagent container from four directions. The control module identifies the reagent by comparing identification information with saved characters by extracting the characters from the images taken from four directions.
