PURPOSE: A position control system of a seat using a hall sensor is provided to update the current position to a limit position by applying a sensor error ignorance section at the end of the driving section of each motor and ignoring sensor errors within the sensor error ignorance section. CONSTITUTION: A position control system of a seat using a hall sensor comprises the following steps: for outputting a pulse from a hall sensor in accordance with the rotation of a motor when a seat moves forward or backward on the operation of a switch(S100); for controlling the rotation of the motor in order to output the pulse according to a sensor error condition(S200); for confirming whether the outputted pulse is within the range of the sensor error condition(S300); for generating a sensor error if the pulse is not in the range of the sensor error condition(S400); for applying a sensor error ignorance section at the end of the driving section of each motor(S500); for confirming whether the current position is within the driving section of each motor on the movement of the seat when the pulse is not in the range of the sensor error condition; and for determining the current position as a limit position ignoring the sensor error and automatically determining an opposite limit position by applying a predetermined stroke distance when pulse is not in the range of the sensor error condition in the sensor error ignorance section(S700).
