DEVICE FOR DECREASING FUEL PULSATION AT DPF

PURPOSE: A fuel pulsation reduction device of a DPF is provided to reduce fuel pulsation generated in a low pressure line and a fuel pipe due to the operation of a fuel injection pump and a fuel pump and to uniformly supply fuel. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pulsation reduction device(1) of a DPF comprises an orifice adapter(5), a surge tank(6), and a fuel pipe. One side of the orifice adapter is connected to a fuel distribution point(3) branched from a low pressure line of a fuel tank to supply part of fuel passing through the low pressure line to a DPF muffler of a post processing system while the other end is connected to the surge tank. One end of the surge tank is connected to the orifice adapter while the other end is connected to one end of the fuel pipe. One end of the fuel pipe is connected to the surge tank while the other end is connected to the DPF muffler of the post processing system to successively pass through the orifice adapter and the surge tank and supply fuel with reduced pulsation to the DPF muffler of the post processing system. The orifice adapter has an inner cavity(7) with a diameter of Φ1mm or Φ2mm for letting fuel through. The surge tank has connection parts(8) on both ends thereof which connect to one end of a connection pipe and one side of the orifice adapter. The inner volume of the surge tank is 942 or 1884 mm^3.
