ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: An electronic picture forming device and a process cartridge are provided to control abrasion on a photosensitive surface by inserting the cutting powder of a photosensitive layer into space between a drum and a developing roller. CONSTITUTION: A length direction of a developing roller(22) is longer than a length direction of a cleaning blade(14b). The cutting powder of a photosensitive layer(9b) is inserted into space between a drum(9) and the developing roller by repeating an image formation step. The cutting powder of the photosensitive layer is not removed from the drum by the cleaning blade. The cutting powder reduces abrasion between the developing roller and the drum.
