PURPOSE: A multi-stage combustion system is provided to reduce nitrogen oxide in combustion products by comparing the velocity of partial combustion air inside a furnace with the concentration of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage combustion system comprises a furnace(9), a fuel injection nozzle(8), a fuel supply passage(1), air supply passages(2,3,4), a damper, an exhaust gas measuring device(13), and a control unit(14). The fuel jetting nozzle jets fuel to the inside of the furnace. The fuel supply passage transfers the fuel supplied from a fuel tank(15) to the fuel jetting nozzle. The damper regulates a flow rate of air transferred to the air supply passages. The exhaust gas measuring device analyzes components of combustion gas exhausted from the furnace. The control unit is electrically connected to the damper and the exhaust gas measuring device, thereby controlling the damper according to a measurement result of the exhaust gas measuring device.
