MECHANICALLY COMMUTATED SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR

PURPOSE: A switched reluctance motor is provided to improve torque density by forming multiple phase windings that coil is wound around a salient pole of a stator and forming an electromagnet that coil is wound around an auxiliary slot between the phase windings for increasing a magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION: A salient pole rotor(210) comprises multiple salient poles. A stator comprises a stator main body(220), multiple phase windings(230a1,230a2,230b1,230b2), and multiple electromagnets(240). The stator main body comprises multiple salient poles(221) and multiple auxiliary slots(222). The multiple auxiliary slots are positioned between the multiple salient poles. The salient pole is wound with a coil. The auxiliary slot is wound with the coil. The multiple salient poles are protruded inwards to face the rotor. The multiple salient poles are arranged in a radius direction at a regular pitch.
