PURPOSE: A subscriber registration device of a home gateway service and a home gateway service providing system and method using the same are provided to smoothly offer a home gateway service by allowing a subscriber of the home gateway service to enter subscriber information into a mobile communications terminal carried by the subscriber, without passing through the procedure of additional registration of customer information and a home gateway MAC(Media Access Control) address into a home gateway service providing server after the installation of the home gateway. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber registration device(200) of a home gateway service in a mobile communications terminal includes the following parts: a home gateway search part(210) transmitting a search query searching through a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) network for a home gateway connected to the UPnP network, and searching for the home gateway through the query response; a home gateway address acquiring part(220) acquiring the public IP(Internet Protocol) address of the searched home gateway from the searched home gateway; and a subscriber registration part(230) registering subscriber information and a public IP address by transmitting subscriber information inputted by a user in advance and the acquired public IP address of the home gateway to a home gateway service providing system providing the home gateway service, through the UPnP network and other mobile communications networks.
