<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveyance apparatus and an inkjet recording apparatus by which paper can be conveyed without giving rise to creasing nor floating. <P>SOLUTION: In a paper conveyance mechanism configured to press the surface of the paper P conveyed by a conveyance drum 41 with a pressing roller 42 to cause the paper P to come into tight contact with the outer circumferential surface of the conveyance drum 41, a back tension application device 300 is provided just in the front of a position where the paper P is introduced between the conveyance drum 41 and the pressing roller 42. Besides, the pressing roller 42 is formed in a crown shape. The paper P is pressed by the pressing roller 42 while being stretched in the conveying direction by a back tension. Also, during the pressing operation, the paper P is pressed by the action of the pressing roller 42 formed in the crown shape while being stretched outwardly in the width direction. Accordingly, the paper P is caused to come into tight contact with the circumferential surface of the conveyance drum 41 without giving rise to creasing or floating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
