PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective optical system that has a high resolution and is able to focus in the entire wide imaging area.

SOLUTION: An objective optical system 400 comprises: an imaging optical system 40 configured to image an object; a re-imaging optical system 70 configured to re-image an image of the object; and reflecting means 60 arranged on an optical path between the imaging optical system 40 and the re-imaging optical system 70. At least one of a position of the reflecting means 60 in the direction of the optical axis (Z direction) and the inclination of the reflecting means 60 with respect to the optical axis can be partially altered.
