<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding implement weeding both sides of seedling roots and the space between seedlings without damaging the seedlings by weeding wheels, and efficiently performing the weeding work with a reduced travelling load. <P>SOLUTION: The weeding implement includes a seedling edge weeding part disposed on the front side or rear side of the implement body for weeding edges of seedlings, wherein the seedling edge weeding part is provided with a pair of right and left weeding wheels composed of elastic wire materials 42 projecting in the radial direction in such a state as to be rotatably grounded on a field surface close to the seedling edge, and the pair of right and left weeding wheels are arranged so as to expand upward in V shape from seedling passing space making the wheels pass seedlings edges, and a disklike wire material cover 50 covering from center of rotation to the halfway part of the length of the wire materials 42 arranged on the seedling passing space side of the weeding wheel.
