PURPOSE: A composition containing complex crude drug extract is provided to suppress tyrosinase and melanogenesis and to ensure excellent skin whitening. CONSTITUTION: An external use pharmaceutical composition for skin whitening contains 0.1-50wt% of Rhei Rhizoma, Cinnamomi Ramulus, Glycyrrhizae Radix, and Persicae semen. The extract is isolated using water, ethanol, methanol, propanol, butanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, hexane, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, hydrous butylene glycol, hydrous propylene glycol, or hydrous glycerin. The pharmaceutical composition is manufactured in the form of a cream, gel, patch, spray, ointment, lotion, liniment, paste, or cataplasma. |
