<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable that can be easily wired along a bent portion. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable comprises: a coated optical fiber; a tension member made of a resin material arranged in parallel to the coated optical fiber; a plurality of wiring auxiliary members arranged in parallel to the coated optical fiber and aligned on a line connecting the coated optical fiber and the tension member in a cross-section taken orthogonally to an extending direction of the coated optical fiber, the wiring auxiliary members made of a metallic material that can be plastically deformed; and an outer coat that covers the coated optical fiber, the tension member, and the wiring auxiliary member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
