<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: an inversion phenomenon in which a power saving effect becomes low occurs since both of the time of lowering a temperature and the time of keeping the low temperature become short when non-use time is short, in an electric kettle having a high heat insulation performance in recent years, in automatic control by a learning function for suppressing power consumption by detecting the use time and non-use time and keeping the low temperature in the non-use time. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined that power saving heat insulation is not to be performed for the unused time shorter than the first prescribed time in the non-use time, the first prescribed time is changed according to a selected temperature by a heat insulation temperature selector 3, and the power saving heat insulation thereafter is controlled by a power saving heat insulation unit 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
